ANA flight Singapore to TokyoNarita... Took 7hrs. For the 1st time we werent late that day.

The inflight "lunch" that was served at 10am Singapore time, 11am Tokyo time. A bit too early for lunch rite... Think it was some pasta tomato based with some steamed fish. Went hungry later in the day cos the dinner was at 830pm spore time... I was starving!!

Red wine for lunch... They provided me the whole bottle!!! hohoho!!

In flight entertainment... Music and Lyrics that was the only watchable movie for that flight...the rest were super boring... Had Ghost Rider too but decided to skip it halfway... End up sleeping and playing reversi.

About to land at Tokyo.. Going to take a domestic flight to Sapporo from there after a brief stop.

Ok, basically ANA is a member of Star Alliance. An average airline.... Had a stormy ride back to Spore yesterday.... Lets just say the plane with hitting turbulence frequently... Takeoff was scary... Noticed that there werent any stewards at all in the 4 flights i took... Spore to TokyoNarita, TokyoNarita to Sapporo Chitose, Sapporo Chitose to Tokyo Haneda, TokyoNarita to Spore.... Another unique thing abt this airline is that they provide a camera view of the front of the plane so passengers can see what the pilot sees during takeoff and landing...interesting.

I love Hokkaido!!!

I am back!!! Time really flies...Wish i was still in Japan. Will be posting lots of pics soon... This pic was taken there...cute rite?

Overall, the trip was good...just a bit too short. Hokkaido is more of a food paradise rather than a scenic place... I am now really into jap food.

And yes, managed to get my first choice in my FYP ballot. "Biodiesel preparation via enzymatic transesterification of vegetable oil" by Prof Li Zhi. Hopefully, this is the right choice....*pray hard*.

Sapporo!! Here I Come!!!

Okie... Bags packed and Finally I am ready to go!!! Going to get myself drunk on Sapporo Beer.. heheh....Tried it once and yes its great... Wonder if it tastes the same there??

4 guys and a gal

Departing on 28/6/07 for Sapporo

Will be leaving on the 28/6/07 thurs for Japan, Hokkaido. Going on a short holiday with my family for a week.... I have nvr been to Japan b4 and YES i am definitely excited to be heading there.

Got to be at the airport by 630am, flight is at 830am. Taking All Nippon Airways or ANA. Apparently, this is a new morning flight introduced recently... nvr tried this airline b4... but i supposed its good since its a member of Star Alliance, the best in the world....

Anyway decided to check out their website... apparently its a small plane a 767-300ER (Hope the ride is smooth, somehow i feel that the smaller the plane is, the ride tends to be bumpier)..

The menu for the flight is out too, some sort of seafood pasta or creamy curry chicken with rice... I am not a great fan of air meals, but one thing abt me is that i will eat anything when i am hungry...haha.

Each seat has a personal TV screen in front, tats good news... and the movie titles are out too, got Ghost Rider, Music and Lyrics..... (not as new as SIA though, but then again better than nothing)... So hopefully the 7 hr flight will be a breeeze.

I forsee wats gonna happen on the day of departure...

1. Problem waking up....
2. Mum starts dragging everyone up...
3. Panic...everyone starts doing some last min packing..
4. Most likely I will be the 1st one to be ready.... So Mum will ask me to get a cab at the taxi stand (Good thing abt my place is its convenient, shopping mall, taxi stand right at my doorstep, haha)
5. 3 scenarios, 1st: Cab available 2nd: None available, (Most likely its already 630am then, so panic....starting dialling for cab 3rd: Dial for cab fails cos cant get thru.... Dad rushes back to the house to get the keys to the car.... We drive down to the airport instead and pay a huge huge carpark fee for a week...(the last time we parked there for like 7 days it cost us more than 100 bucks...so this is a last option)
6. Start checking in luggage...heard that the group size is kinda big abt 40 pple.... so might take a while.....Probably get a quick bite for breakfast at the airport...maybe Mac or maybe at the foodcourt...

So basically the 1st day will be spent on the plane...7hrs Spore to Tokyo Narita, Then 1.5 hrs transit there.... then another 1.5hrs internal flight from Tokyo to Sapporo.... Will reach Sapporo at abt 630pm Spore time..... I supposed I will head straight to bed then...haha...yes I am a guy that needs sleep...at least 7hrs...preferably 8hrs though

Hot Fuzz

Read the reviews for this movie and thought it was good...esp when its given a 4 star out of 5 rating on the CNA website. So decided to catch it, watched it at PS....But apparently this comedy/action movie isnt that fanatastic after all. The plot was simply lame.... Story goes like this... Officer Angel is a 5 star cop, got transferred to the countryside... Met his new partner who is eager for some action... many murders took place.... in the end the 2 started shooting their way (yes, with lots and lots of ammo) to bring peace to the area.... end of story...

But then again, nothing beats Fantastic 4 which is the worst movie I have watched or shld I say slept thru this year...

Things to do for the nxt 2 days

Okie....got a lot of things to do for the next 2 days....

1) Pack my luggage
2) Check with m1 that my phone is gonna work in Japan
3) Tidy up my room....and shun bian the rest of the house....its a great mess
4) Settle FYP ballot stuff
5) Exercise...havent exercise for a week.... need to get back in shape....
6) optional: Figure out how to blog properly, how to use adobe photoshop, I hope i wont have to delete my own blog....it takes lots of discipline and hard work to maintain one man......
